INTERVIEW
Joan Ramon Bonet was the eleventh number of Los Setze Jutges and left the song when the group dissolved. Brother of Maria del Mar Bonet, he devoted himself to photography
Joan Ramon Bonet (Palma, 1944) has many parallel stories in his long career as a photographer. Son of the journalist Joan Bonet, began as a singer-songwriter in the 60’s and was the first islander to join Los Setze Jutges, a group he later introduced his sister, Maria del Mar Bonet. He had studied merchant navy and embarked, so his participation in the group that promoted the New Song was intermittent. After composing a dozen songs and recording three albums, with the dissolution of Els Setze Jutges Joan Ramon Bonet left the world of music to dedicate himself to photography. Take advantage of the exhibition at the Can Prunera modernist museum in Sóller, to talk with a photographer who has mainly watched art and artists, but not only.
